If you crave something extremely challenging, then Magic Sudoku might be for you. It is a variation of the original Sudoku. There are some new rules/restrictions in this version of Sudoku. Just as in the original Sudoku, the cells contain the numbers 1 to 9 without repetition. However, with Magic Sudoku, this concept applies to the diagonal instead of top to bottom and across. Each "Quadrant" has only a number. Also, each game has special rows that are colored. The value of the numbers in these cells is lower or equal "as the number of colored cells in every quadrant".

 

 

There are also free printable Sudoku puzzles available for children. These Sudoku puzzles have at least two levels. Level One puzzles require that a number between 1 and 4 be placed in each empty cell so that every row, every column and every 2x2 box contains all of the numbers from 1 to 4. For the Level Two puzzles, the numbers 1 to 6 are placed in each empty cell so that every row, every column and every 2x3 box contains all of the numbers from 1 to 6.
