Due to a glitch with the Xbox version of the game, some players have been able to download the full version of FIFA 23. Obviously, changes are still possible in the last month before release, and these rankings need to be considered with a grain of salt. That said, these seem pretty close to EA's final ratings. Let's take a look at the highest rated players in FIFA 23.

Who are the 10 highest rated players in FIFA 23?

Based on our ratings so far, it looks like some of the top players are down slightly. In FIFA 22, the highest rating is 93 OVR, which was awarded to PSG's Lionel Messi. Seven other players scored 91 or higher. This year, no one started the season with an OVR rating higher than 91, and only five players earned that rating. Here are the top 10 players based on their gold cards:

Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich) -- 90 OVR

Somewhat surprisingly, this means Neymar has dropped out of the top 10 in FIFA 23, as he now has an OVR rating of 89. His league form is in line with his past seasons, but his inability to score in the Champions League could be the reason for the drop. N 'Golo Kante, Harry Kane, Ter Stegen and Jan Oblak also dropped out of the top 10 this year.

There are a number of players making a big push into the top 50 this year. Antonio Rudiger's OVR has gone from 83 to 87, while Vinicious Jr. The OVR has increased dramatically from 80 to 86. Rounding out the top 50 were players such as Christopher Nkunku (86), Nicolo Barella (86), Lautauro Martinez (86), and Theo Hernandez (85).
