The location of the society

In Pakistan, Islamabad is the seat of the Government of Pakistan and it is also the capital of the country. The city has a population of over 8 million people and it is one of the most densely populated areas in the world. The city center is located on a ridge that overlooks Islamabad Valley. The climate in Islamabad is temperate with mild winters and hot summers.

The amenities of the society

The society is situated in an upmarket locality of Islamabad and offers its residents a blend of contemporary amenities with the traditional values. It offers residents an array of recreational and leisure facilities such as a football field, tennis court, gymnasium, swimming pool and children’s playground.

The society also has a state-of-the-art hospital on site which provides quality health care services to its residents free of charge. The society also houses a number of retail outlets which offer a wide range of products and services.

The security of the society

Five years ago, when I was researching for my MPhil thesis on the security of society in Islamabad, I had no idea that I would eventually become a resident of a society like Maple. But that is exactly what happened. In 2009, when I moved to Islamabad from the UK, my research led me to Maple Housing Society – a modern and secure society located in Sector F-8 of Islamabad.

Since moving into Maple, I have never felt so safe and secure. The society has high walls and security measures including CCTV cameras positioned all around the property. There are also guards stationed at all entrances and exits to ensure that no unauthorized person or vehicle can enter or leave the property. Moreover, residents are required to use biometric cards to gain access to their homes and offices, which further ensures safety and privacy.

While living in Maple is undoubtedly a Secure Society, it is not perfect. There are some things that could be improved such as ensuring better communication between residents and management regarding security threats or incidents. However, overall, Maple is one of the safest societies I have ever lived in and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality housing with excellent security measures."

The environment of the society

Pakistan, with a population of over 180 million people, is one of the most densely populated countries in the world. According to UN Habitat, Pakistan has an estimated population density of 1,000 people per square kilometer. This means that there are more than three hundred people living on every acre of land in Pakistan. The challenge of high population density and limited land makes housing a critical issue in Pakistan.

Pakistan's capital, Islamabad, has a population of roughly 1.5 million people. In order to accommodate the large number of residents, Islamabad was built on a grid system and is divided into seven districts: Green Zone, Cantonment Zone I & II, Industrial Area I & II, residential areas and allied areas. Each district is further divided into neighborhoods and subdivided into smaller units known as societies or colonies.

Islamabad society is unique in many ways. First and foremost, it is segregated by class. There are upper-class societies located in the Cantonment Zone and wealthy families reside in the Residential Areas while the majority of society consists of middle-class households who live in neighborhoods near commercial areas such as Gulberg-I and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Colony. The lower class lives clustered around social welfare institutions such as Azizia Women's College or Model Town Housing Society which was developed for laborers working at nearby military installations during World War II.

The environment of society can be described as chaotic because it
